What are they?

They are structured plans that help you prepare for the GRE (and TOEFL).

| While we don't have a formal study plan for IELTS, we do have a series of IELTS dedicated classes on GregMAT+.

|| We do not have a study plan (or classes) for the GMAT Focus or GMAT's upcoming Business Writing Assessment - the (very limited) resources about the GMAT on our website are the "classic" GMAT that was retired at the end of January 2024. GregMAT in general is not a good choice for those looking to study for the GMAT.

How do I get access to the study plans?

It's on the website (top bar - see the "Study Plans" section). Note that viewing the study plan as-is is free and doesn't require an account - what you have to pay for is access to the videos and quizzes associated with the study plans (and the rest of the website). You get that by paying for the $8/month GregMAT+ subscription - there are no other fees (except if you want to use PrepSwift).

|| There is one exception: the "I'm Overwhelmed" study plan for the GRE makes heavy use of PrepSwift, and hence you need the $10/month GregMAT+ and PrepSwift subscription.

The GregMAT Full Practice Tests

What are they?

They are full GRE-styled practice tests (the shorter format, so 12 questions each for first quant/verbal section, and 15 questions for the second).

Are they free?

Yes. You do not need a GregMAT+ subscription to access these tests, but you do need to create an account on the site (which is free).

Are these questions from ETS? Where are these questions from?

They are not ETS questions. Us at GregMAT write them, so the questions and scoring will not be as good as ETS.

|| Practice Test 1 only contains a few verbal questions from the mini exams. Practice Test 2 and 3 do not contain any questions from the mini exams. Note though that we regularly test questions in classes (and the experimental questions), so it is still possible you may see some of them in the practice test if you've seen those experimental questions before.

How does Greg Mat+ work?

|| The price was $5 per month till May 1st 2024.

You pay $8 a month and get access to all live classes per week (about 10 per week). Access means you actually participate in the class. You can also watch the recordings of ALL classes in the recorded video section of the member page.

You can optionally add PrepSwift for an extra $2 a month to get bite-sized videos (with associated quizzes), which can help if you're short on time.

Why a subscription model?

Most test prep companies offer a one-time fee, a one-and-done deal, but I was hoping to have more of an interaction with the students of Greg Mat+. I want them to have a say in what content is being offered each month. I want them to feel that the program is dynamic. The subscription fee provides me with an incentive to keep releasing new content that caters to what you guys are asking for.

For example, with the subscription model, many of the current students are asking for grammar courses. They can be accommodated more easily with this model than with the one-time fee payment one. It just makes us more flexible.

Will this raise my GRE score guaranteed?

No. No guarantees or sure things in test prep land. Just too many variables. And I don’t want to lie to you. But we’ll try our best.

Why do my cards keep getting declined?

Video Essay Feedback

We offer a service to review essays where Greg will make a private feedback video on one of your GRE argument or issue essays. The video will last 8-10 minutes and will cover feedback on grammar/mechanics, essay organization, cohesion and coherence, word usage, and persuasiveness.
