July 15 price increase
What's happening?
The prices for our GregMAT+, and GregMAT+ with PrepSwift subscriptions, are increasing significantly for new subscribers. Existing subscribers are unaffected.
Why?
This change helps us continue investing in the platform, hiring more support and content staff, and building better tools for students, while keeping our pricing far below most test prep options. This increase is steep, but our mission to provide affordable test prep stays to the core.
What are the prices going to be?
Tier | Old price and existing subscribers | New price |
|---|---|---|
GregMAT+ | $7.99 | $11.99 |
GregMAT+ with PrepSwift | $9.99 | $14.99 |
When?
July 15th. This may be slightly pushed back, but do not count on it.
What about existing subscribers?
As long as you maintain a valid subscription (that was first initiated before the price increase), you'll keep the old $7.99/$9.99 rate (called as a price lock). There is no limit on how long you can keep the discount either.
Can I pre-pay for multiple months at once before the price increase?
You can via services.gregmat.com if you like, but you shouldn't need to (see above).
I am a former subscriber. Will I keep the old prices if I resubscribe?
If you resubscribed after the pricing change has taken effect, no. You'll pay the new rate.
I have GregMAT+ at the old price and want to upgrade to PrepSwift after the price increase. Will I pay the increased price?
No. You can freely upgrade to PrepSwift+ whenever you like. As long as your original subscription was at the old rate, your upgraded subscription will be as well.
I have the $3 GMAT or TOEFL subscription. Can I pay for GregMAT+ at the old price after the price increase?
No. These subscriptions are separate.
I did not subscribe in time; can I get a discount to pay the old prices?
No.
I ran into a technical or payment issue when resubscribing.
There is a short grace period built-in which should cover most of these scenarios, but if you are presented with the higher prices, please contact us.
I have other questions.
