Using GregMAT for GMAT
Wondering whether you should use GregMAT for GMAT? Here are some things to consider:
I don't know anything about the GRE or GMAT at all
Make that decision first. If you decide to go for GRE, GregMAT is a very good choice - you can simply follow the GRE study plans at Study Plans FAQ. If you decide to go for GMAT, see the next question. If you're unsure, reach out to us.
I've decided to go for the GMAT, but am otherwise a newbie
No. Use a different service, as our materials and study plans are too incomplete at this time.
I'm using a different service and want some supplemental practice
It depends:
- For verbal: no. All that we have are some CR (critical reasoning questions).
- For Data Insights: almost always no; we only have quant some data sufficiency questions for practice.
For quant, things are less clear:
- If you simply want to practice quant problems, you can by going to https://gmat.gregmat.com/practice. We have only ~100ish problems though as of writing.
- If you want to learn and practice foundation, yes by going to https://gmat.gregmat.com/learn. For each concept, there's a video, an associated text summary for the video, and a short quiz covering the concepts of that video. However, note that we're still working on the material and hence this will also depend on what you want to cover.
I need private tutoring
No. Our private tutoring service (https://www.gregmat.com/tutoring) is only for the GRE.
I am a GregMAT+ student preparing for the GRE, and want supplemental practice
No for verbal. For quant, maybe (with the note that there are differences in the format and style). However, what's more likely is that you're asking the wrong question, because
- we already have a lot of practice material on our site.
- you may be falling into the "practice is enough" mindset, without improving the associated foundation and quant strategies.
Our recommendation would be to reach out to our support team first.
Anything else?

This is new for us. So there's a lot we need to update and it's likely that you'll run into things we should have clarified (but haven't). If you have any questions, feel free to
- contact us via chat or email at support@gregmat.com on the GMAT site if there's something you're confused about our service or have feedback to share. You can also use these methods to report errors in any of the questions on our site.
- use forums.gregmat.com for any specific quant/verbal/Data Insights questions
